Hi! I’m Laurie Neilsen, an artist who lives and works in coastal Connecticut. I’ve been a fan of DC comics since I was a kid watching Batman: The Animated Series on TV.
I adore Matt Ryan’s Constantine, and was heartbroken when the series only lasted one season. Then he came back on Legends of Tomorrow, and I rejoiced! I’ve read almost every issue of Swamp Thing and Hellblazer, and I’ve seen all of the animated features where Matt Ryan voiced John Constantine. The Keanu Reeves movie is…okay.
One day I drew our favorite freelance exorcist as a golden retriever puppy, and my friends encouraged me to keep going and draw more DC characters. It soon snowballed into a whole barnyard of animal puns, and Justice League Bark was born. After a small hiatus to write my first novel, I’m back with a new issue and website. I’m hoping this will make me update this comic more often. I have a lot of ideas.
